January 2014 - Launching an App: The legal pitfalls

Dear Bootlawyers, We started the new Bootlaw season back in 2013, with a critically acclaimed talk from Jane Reoch, on term sheets from an investor's perspective. Having secured the all important funding, it's time to start developing and launching that all important app. However, there are a number of pitfalls you need to avoid before you can have your piece of the $10 billion pie and eat it too.

Cue our very own legal experts, Rosie Macadie and Lore Leitner, solicitors at Pinsent Masons. Rosie and Lore will be on hand on Wednesday 22 January 2014 to discuss all things app related. They will walk us through contractual provisions in developer agreements, consumer considerations in developing apps and the key terms you will need to keep an eye out for in the Google/Apple terms for the respective App stores - knowing how to navigate these potential pitfalls will help get your app off to a very (h)appy start in 2014.

Bootlawyers can RSVP here for the first hotly anticipated Bootlaw of 2014!
